Friends of Indian Poor’s (FOIP) vision is to passionately reach out to the underprivileged in India to EDUCATE, ENLIGHTEN and EMPOWER them irrespective of their caste, creed, religion, gender and social status for their upliftment and wellbeing.

Mission

Friends of Indian Poor (FOIP) exists:

• To provide quality education and vocational training to the underprivileged children and youth by meeting the financial needs; to form self-help groups to create employment opportunities
• To create general awareness on health and hygiene among women and children; to meet the medical needs of the sickly poor people; to run affordable cost/free primary health centers; to provide affordable cost medicines to the poor
• To aid in expensive life saving surgeries and hospitalization for the poor
• To identify and train slum & rural community leaders for Educating, Enlightening and Empowering the poor and marginalized people of India
